For Sneaky Fitness, Missy teamed up with personal trainer Larysa DiDio. Sneaky Fitness has 100 different activities to do with your children to get them up and moving. Plus, let’s face it, you will be moving too.
The Sneaky Fitness activities are fun and easily disguise the fact that your kids are exercising. Larysa breaks down the workouts into three age categories: Preschoolers (ages 2-4), Grade-Schoolers (ages 5-8) and Tweens (ages 9-12). Some of my favorite “workouts” to do with the kids are: Marching Band (we use plastic pots and pans, much easier on the eardrums), Bubble Bobble (you burn 109 calories if you do this for 30 minutes, who knew!?) and Tickle Torture (I know that sounds scary, but I promise you, you already do it!).
Like I mentioned before there are 50 new recipes in Sneaky Fitness. I live and breathe out of this cookbook. As in all of her cookbooks, Missy has recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The recipes are great for the whole family and are quick and simple to follow. My favorites from this book are, Rainbow Sprinkle Pancakes, Top Dog Corn Muffins, Honey BBQ Chicken Nuggets and Purple Power Pops (perfect for the warm months!).
One of our lucky readers will win their very own copy of Sneaky Fitness. For a required entry visit Missy’s website and tell us your favorite recipe that you would like to try.
