We had a lot of fun yesterday reading everyone’s comments to our “Questions Not To Ask” post, so we’ve decided to make Sunday another reader participation day! Every Sunday, along with our Clips/Photos of the Week, we are going to pose a question to our readers, and all are welcome to share their thoughts in the comments section. If you have a question you’d like us to ask the Multiples and More community, send us an email and let us know!

One thing we’ve learned so far in our first year of motherhood is that being a mom is part instinct, and part trial and error. Having multiples certainly has its unique challenges… so this week’s question is:

What is one thing that you know for sure that you have done right so far with your kids? If you could go back, is there anything that you would do differently?

We look forward to reading your responses! Don’t forget to stop by your fellow MoMs’ blogs and say hello!

What I Wish Everyone Knew about Essential Oils

Hello how have, you all been? It has been a little while since I …

  1. Breastfeeding!

  2. Doing Right: Teach them about God/Jesus, becuase that is who they are from/how they are here/why they are here!
Do again…nurse longer; I am still pumping, but I miss the closness of nursing.

  3. One this i know i did right was breastfeeding and making sure they are happy and healty:)YAY ME!LOL

  4. P.S. YAY FOR MY LITTLE MASON! hehe Thanks Ladies:)

  5. It sounds crazy, I’m sure I’ve made mistakes, but I wouldn’t change a thing! I am always the best mom I can be…

  6. Done right – loved them with all my heart, try to let their little personalities shine through.

Do over – have more patience!!

  7. Right: Homemade Babyfood, Breastfeeding at 11 months and going strong, teaching them about God/Jesus, Babysign, loved them with everything

  8. My twins are only 6 months old, but I think the best thing I’ve done as a mom is breastfeed them. Even through all the clogged ducts and sleepless nights (still a regular occurance).

  9. Keeping the quads on a SUPER STRICT schedule is one thing I know I've done right. They are better eaters & much better sleepers than my singleton. They are all round happier babies than my singleton was & I know that their strict schedule has a lot to do with this. If I could go back & change one thing, I would have taken A LOT more pictures in the NICU of them. I was so stressed during those visits that I didn't take the time to capture how tiny & amazing they truly were! It really makes me sad how very few pictures we have from that time.

  10. Done right: Love them and teach them the best way to love one another and other people.

Done wrong: More patience and wishing that I had played with them more when they were little because time goes by so fast.

  11. Right: Loving them with all my heart. Teaching them to be kind and polite.

Wrong: More patience and really enjoying while they were babies.

  12. Right: Kept them on a schedule as babies, they’re GREAT sleepers now and I credit that to their schedules.

Wrong: Over-stressed about breastfeeding/pumping. Plus I think I’ve held them back a little out of fear of moving forward.

  13. I know I have made some mistakes but I would definitely not change a thing.

The things that I know I have done right was breastfeeding, keeping them on a strict schedule, encouraging their differences instead of trying to make a pair with the same likes. And finally, loving them totally and telling them that everyday!
