If you have our button on your blog, but do not see your blog on any blogroll, email us at, and we’ll get you on the list a.s.a.p.!

This week’s Clip of the Week comes from Lindsi, of Lots of Babies To Love! Get ready for cuteness.. little Maddie has some mad clapping skills, and her twin brother Zachary- well, we can tell he’s a little heartbreaker in the making. Thanks for sending this in, Lindsi!

And our Photo of the Week this week is from Angela, of Three at Four. Her triplets are now 4 years old!

Adorable! And it’s so nice to know that maybe in a couple years, we’ll be able to get pictures of all of our kids together again! Thank you, Angela!

Now, for our Question of the Week!

Last week, we asked you to submit your questions that you would like us to ask our community, and several of you wanted us to address the issue of biting. With a good portion of our readers having small children (including us!), we think this is a great topic.

Have you experienced biting behavior with your children? At what age did it begin?

What methods did you use to stop the behavior? Leave us your thoughts/input!

Hello how have, you all been? It has been a little while since I …

  1. Luckily we never had the biting problem… I think they just like to bite into food too much :-p But, that picture and video were both adorable! Can I submit some? I have tons! :-p

  2. Yay!!! Thanks for featuring our picture. How fun.

  3. Aw! Thanks for showing off my twins in the video! Yay!

  4. Cute video and picture.

Yes, we have biting. One who bites a lot, one who bites here and there and one who never bites. Em, the biter, started at about a year old. Now, at 2, she knows what she is doing and that it is wrong. She receives a time-out and has to apologize to her sister. We have noticed a decrease in her biting over the past few months.

  5. Ugh, biting! Of my BBBG quads, we luckily only have one biter, the one girl! She started biting when all the kids got mobile as infants, then stopped biting completely for around a year. The kiddos will turn 3 in June and just in the last couple of months, she has started up again. Not often, but every now and then and HARD! Her poor brotheres! I’m sure it’s a defense issue for her, but we’re working hard to get it stopped. We make a big deal out of how much she has hurt her brother and made him cry (and bleed) and she goes to time-out and has to apologize and hug and kiss. I think she’s really getting how much it hurts and that it causes a booboo. Hopefully it will be over soon!

  6. Oy! My girls never bit (just a few times during nursing), but I have a MAJOR biter now! Thomas has been ‘biting’ me long before he had teeth, and now, at 11m old, he will bite his brother Adam! I have NO idea what to do, just swoop in and say/sign “NO!”, and rescue Adam from my chomper.

  7. I just have to say that you guys are amazing and doing an amazing job with this. I am so glad to be a part of this! It is such a great place.

  8. Biting…we havn’t dealt with it much because when either of the twins bit and we correct them..they’ve listened. We’ve been pretty lucky 🙂

  9. Oh freak no! Please tell me how to stop the biting. Time out just does not seem to make the cut.

  10. Great video and picture. Congrats to both of them!

As for biting, I had one child, Chase that would always bit. Started around 18 months, every time he would get upset he would bit anything that was around him – including me and his brother. I started out biting him back (really didn’t work) (I know but you learn as you go). I then just started him No biting and sitting him in time out – or spanking him if he actually did bite. It worked for him. If he gets really upset now – he screams at you. So we went from on thing to another – but at least he is not biting. He really didn’t bit anyone else (like other kids at school).
